WillaMarie Jackson brings a unique blend of experience, passion, and expertise to her role as the Marketing Coordinator for Miles' Mission, Inc. in Zanesville, OH. She holds licenses as a Professional Counselor, School Counselor, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Her career has been dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages through individual therapy and psycho-educational groups, covering areas such as mental health, risk management, mediation, conflict resolution, academic and career planning, and advocacy for diverse communities.
With over ten years of experience in secondary education and more than a decade in Higher Education, WillaMarie has focused on Residence Life, Student Affairs, and Academic Affairs, always with a commitment to empowering others. Her approach is grounded in empathy, non-judgment, and a deep care for the well-being of those she serves. Academically, she holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from Muskingum University and a Master’s in Mental Health, Rehabilitation, and School Counseling from the Ohio University. She holds a BA in Political Science from Presbyterian College and notes PC’s motto “Dum Vivimus Servimus” [While we live, we serve] provided the foundation, along with her faith for her strengths-based, client-centered approach to helping individuals overcome obstacles and thrive.
In addition to her counseling work, WillaMarie has served within the event planning space since age 9, helping her mother (retired elementary school principal) create events for students/faculty/staff along with her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. As the former Director of Operations at Distinct Event Planning, LLC, —she nurtured the third-party vendor/client relationships and trained new staff to become top-tier event planners and additional support areas within the company. Known for her strategic, dynamic, and independent spirit, WillaMarie leads with a calm and decisive approach, ensuring that problems are solved before they arise. Her personal life is as vibrant as her professional one; when she’s not leading teams or creating impactful events, WillaMarie enjoys Harley rides with her husband and spending time with her two sons. Her love for Rose Gold symbolizes her faith and passion, which she brings to every project and interaction.
