Community Standards On Perinatal Loss Care

In the spring of 2024, members of the Miles' Mission Advisory Board began developing standards of practice that hospitals can adopt to better support families experiencing loss. The standards were presented to the Central Ohio Hospital Council (COHC) the winter of 2024. On Tuesday, June 17th, the COHC Board of Directors APPROVED the standards.

We could not be more excited to announce House Bill 4 has officially been signed into law! The first family of Miles' Mission had the honor of joining Governor Mike DeWine, Former Senator Stephanie Kunze, Representative Adam Holmes, and Representative Cecil Thomas for the signing of House Bill 4 - designating September 19th as Ohio Stillbirth Prevention Day.

The Muskingum Valley Park District has officially teamed up with Miles’ Mission to bring a brand-new memorial park to life. The Miles’ Mission Memorial Park will soon grow out of the Military Road greenspace; a location tucked between the Zanesville Museum of Art and Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
