September 19th In Ohio Will Now Be Known As “Stillbirth Prevention Day”

We could not be more excited to announce House Bill 4 has officially been signed into law! The first family of Miles' Mission had the honor of joining Governor Mike DeWine, Former Senator Stephanie Kunze, Representative Adam Holmes, and Representative Cecil Thomas for the signing of House Bill 4 - designating September 19th as Ohio Stillbirth Prevention Day. This will allow for the start of a broader conversation about stillbirth prevention and the care provided to Ohio families who have experienced the loss of a child. We would like to once again thank the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate for the unanimous votes and cosponsorships to get this bill to the Governor. Today, change in Ohio has started for the families of pregnancy and infant loss!
